I'm afraid of dying without a cause, I rather die for something meaningful

I dont want to and age and decay or die suddenly by accident.

But I'm not really afraid of whats on the other side.

I'll find whats there when I get there.

I do not fear death, for it is a blessing and a welcome. Let me be clear, I don't chase death, but death itself is comforting, really.

After the soul leaves this Earthly life, it lives on in the spiritual realm. It is born into a new life!

This life, this Earthly life, is likened to a womb. In the womb, we have all of our needs met. We have all we can eat, drink, we're warm, we have mother's voice always for comfort, we don't need anything. I mean, it would seem that we couldn't have it any better than in the womb.

Then we are born, and over a lifetime, we see how FAAAARRR beyond a baby's little imagination, that this life's blessings and adventures actually are! In the womb, we could never ever imagine how wonderful it is once we're born.

Same princople with death. We're like living in a womb, for the life beyond is FAAAARRRR better than anything we could ever dream up here. Even the loftiest stations in this Earthly life, those of mighty kings and queens, are not even a speck of dust in the lowest point of Paradise.

When we are born into the next life, we will hardly be able to believe how SO VERY GRACIOUS God is to us, to give us such an indescribably beautiful life as we will have.

The soul lives, it never dies. Heaven and hell are states of consciousness in all the worlds of God, whether in this Earthly life, or in the next, the spiritual realm. There is no fear of an eternal damnation, of an eternally burning hellfire. NO loving God would ever subject His children to this. Ever.

Hell is separation from God, and it comes in infinite degrees, and it's found in all planes of existence. Heaven is closeness to God, and it comes in infinite degrees, and it's found in all planes of existence.

Okay, so I no longer fear a hell, nor is there a Devil aka boogeyman, because all of what God created is good. Some will say that Satan was once God's angel, Lucifer, but he disobeyed God and wanted to overthrow Him. Ah, but angels have NO free will, they have only one choice, and that is to obey God. How can Lucifer be a fallen angel, if it's impossible for angels to fall?

Now that I've learned all of the beautiful things about the birth into the next life, and the scary stuff that's traditionally taught about death has been removed, there is NO FEAR LEFT.

Death is only death for the physical body, but it's a MOST GRAND BIRTH for the soul, better than anything we can ever imagine!

I'm not afraid of what's on the other side. I am not afraid of my death. If something happened to take me away now, I would only be afraid of my son growing up not knowing me or how much I love him. That's why I tell him every day!

Like most people, theist or not, I admit I am somewhat fearful of the idea of dying and forever not being conscious. Of course, being atheist, I am aware that I WON'T have an eternal afterlife which, to me, is worse than not having one. It's worse to forever be conscious (and end up 'suicidal' and not being able to do anything about it) and be bored, than to be unconscious forever (and not know it, of course).

We are not to fear death. It is the end of life. Just another part of life. And once we are dead we are not aware. It is just as when we were before we were conceived in our mother's womb. But, being conscious NOW, and knowing I will one day NOT be conscious forever puts me in my polar opposite position - and that does frighten me. And there's nothing I can do about it except try and live my ONE and ONLY life to the absolute fullest as I possibly can.

spiritually, I am not afraid to die. I know where I'll end up and that if I die before I should, I atleast got the chance that hundreds of millions of people didn't.

naturally, technically yes. if a gun was held to my head i would try all I could to keep my life once I'm not asked to deny Christ. my life is too precious to give up, and I can't serve God or help others while dead.

No, I am not afraid of death. Why should I be afraid of something that will end up happening anyway? There is no point in living in fear and worry of something that will eventually happen.

Of course not. Why not? Because I know that with my salvation, when I die I will be whisked away to the gates of Heaven and into the arms of my Jesus. However, I would prefer not to have a lot of pain in the actual process.

No I am not but I would like to die peacefully and not say, bleeding to death or something. I truly believe in heaven and I have nothing to fear from that!

No. Paul said it best "to Die means to go to the Father and to be with Him to live means to do His will here for His Glory".

When God calls us home it means that we have finished the work He has set before us.
