Will doing 200 crunches, and 200 leg lifts tone up your stomach? If so, how many days/weeks/months will it take and how how many [crunches/leglifts] should i do a day & how many repititions? Or should i increase the intensity?

If you don't know, please dont comment.
thanks.

crunches will tone abs but they dont burn any fat on the belly.
a key to flat stomach is reduction of body fat percentage which you achieve by healthy diet (not depriving yourself) and cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min.
you can do crunches twice a week if you want to but not more than that -muscle grows in between workouts and you should never work on the same muscle group two days in a row. (15-30reps 2-4 sets)

200 a day is too much; it might strain your back. maybe 50-100 of each per day is good enough or stop when your back hurts. also, try brisk walking or jogging for 30 minutes before crunches and leg lifts. cardio exercise will help burn fat and tone your stomach, plus it will warm up your abs for your crunches and lifts. lastly, eat a low ('low', not 'no') carb diet and avoid alcoholic drinks.

you should try doing these together with crunches. crunches and leg lifts alone, no matter how many time, will not work effectively and efficiently. you should get results in a few weeks.

In addition

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

From my personal experience, focusing on just one muscle group doesnt necessarily get you the results you want. If looking to build muscle try to mix up your ab excercising by various excercises. Repeating it can cause you to plateau. If you are looking to burn fat around your mid section you have to work out your entire body. This increases your metabolism because all your muscle groups are burning calories. Also if you want to lose stomach fat (I know it sounds wierd) but work on your back and leg muscles. These are the largest muscles in your body and they burn more energy and calories then any other when repairing themselves.
