Three, without a license. With four or more dogs you need a kennel license.

I actually looked for references. There's plenty of places that confirm what I said, but no authoritative (city) sites. To confirm it, I recommend you call a local shelter.

well i don't actually know cause i don't live there.But i live pretty close lol...but i say just get one for now and then really find out.If ur aloud to have 2 and u think u can handle another then y not.Just think of ur first dog but double the food.water,caring and of course...THERE'S MORE TO LOVE.Which is good thing lol :] i want one of my own.But can't get one until Oct. cause thats when we're moving into our new house..well good luck have fun bye! :]
