I am a 110 lb 13 yr old male 5'4ish, and I'm wondering whats the best size i should get for TWIN TIP SKIS.
I'm thinking somewhere between 140cm and 160 cm...what size would be right for 5'4 would you say?

Twin tips around 160cm would be best for you. skis that are around eye level when you stand next to them. Shorter skis are lighter and spin easier, but a little longer ones are more solid for landing, faster, and may last you another year.

I'm 5'8'' ,150 lbs and use 171cm LINE invaders. They are a good fit for me. The best bet for finding your size is to try
out different lenghts. Ask your friends If you can use thier skis and see what ones you like.

It's not so much about height as it is about weight. It used to be that way when sizing skis, but not so much anymore. Each company puts out a chart for an ideal weight-to-ski length.

There are so many factors now with skis it's really hard to just figure it out according to height.

The chart is a good start but then you should demo a few pair of skis in different sizes and get a feel for what you like best.

If you really want to go full-hog then you start playing with the mounting. Most shops will center-mount the bindings unless you tell them otherwise. Some skiers say a mounting 3mm back or 2mm ahead of center is what they like...it can make a difference in how the ski rides.

My all-mountain skis are mounted 3mm forward. My telemarks are mounted dead-on center, and my park skis are mounted 2mm back. I also mount my own stuff (mostly) so I can change it if I need to. I've got four sets of holes in one pair of skis because that's how long it took me to find the sweet spot.

Hit some demo days at a hill and try before you buy.

right up at 155 or 160 should be good for you. You might even go taller. but then it also depends on the flex of the ski. You're not really all that heavy so I would go on the shorter side. Either way, I would say no less than 155 if you want those skis to last more than a single season.

What are you doing with them? Big mountain pow skiing, or park?

Longer for the first, shorter for the second.

But start with a ski that goes up to about your chin to mouth when standing next to it.

Also, ask the ski shop techs. They can really help guide you in the right direction.

If you are at a park shorter is better. So maybe 150s. It all depends on what sort of skier you are. I have gone in reverse, rather then getting bigger skis as I improve i get shorter because I find them easier. Ask the people at the shop, they are paid to know their stuff. Good luck
