Staple if necessary. Better still, get it down to 1 page.

Staple.

Make sure the staple is close to, and parallel with the edge of the paper. A diagonal staple prevents the pages from opening up completely, and makes the reader inconvenienced.

A paper clip can work loose, and you run the risk of the resume being mixed up, or a page lost, etc. Don't chance it with a paper clip.

Neither. It's best to keep it one page because it shows professionalism. Keep experiences unrelated to the position you are searching for off the resume. Don't be lazy and make the interviewer work to get the information. The more work you put into preparing the resume, the less work you have to do during the selection process.

You do not need to staple or paper clip to the cover letter.

Use a staple! It's easier for the employer, the paper clip might come off when they're reading it & they'll get annoyed & throw your resume in the trash! True story..

Never use a paper clip. You run the risk of the second and/or third page getting lost.

Staple or use a cover for better presentation.

Happy Job Hunting! Good Luck.

Paper clip, if you staple then it would be messy if they had to rip it apart, and plus they paperclip most things to resumes like notes anyways.

I staple it just in case it gets shuffled around on the person's desk, it will all stay together.

Neither!

You should place it in a plastic sheet if you are to be handing them into places.
