I haven't filed in four years ( long story involving bad experience with ex-wife), but none the less i need to get caught up and have some of my paperwork. I have been self employed off and on over the last four years, Iheard theres a place you can get all your income history and I did a search on the IRS website but I didn't have any luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated very much. Thanks

contact the irs, 1-800-829-1040, tell them you want a transcript of activity for those 4 years. It will give you all the income and some of the deductions that have been reported to the irs under your social security number, combine that with your own additional information, and hopefully you can either prepare your own returns for those 4 years (you can download the 4 years of forms from the irs website, www.irs.gov) or bring all your info to a CPA/Tax Preparer. Be prepared to pay tax, interest and penalties though. And in your case being self-employed you will have to pay the regular tax, and self-employment tax as well.

If you were self-employed, and didn't file tax returns, there's not a place where you can get your income history. That will have to come from your records.
