online biz?????

Must you have an tax id/resale to operate a successful online biz? Also does anyone know how would I find out the cost of those,if in Michigan? I have tried going onto the treasury etc. no infoonly shows required licenses.

If you are selling items that are subject to sales tax and sell them to people in your home state, you must charge sales tax.
