is the carnival cruise ship inspiration a good ship???

im going on a cruise on the carnival inspiration to cozumel ,mexico i was wondering is it a nice ship????? please help

I was on the Inspiration last year, and it was great. In fact it is in drydock right now, and will have all of the latest features of the Fantasy class ships when it comes out. I am looking forward to taking my family on the ship again, maybe next year.

I took my whole family on the Imagination last year - 8 cabins - it was their yearly presents all rolled-up into one. We went out of Tampa for 5 nights and had a great cruise.

The Imagination is one of Carnival's older ships, although she is very well taken care of - nothing seemed to be wearing out or in need of replacement. She only has about 20 cabins with balconies, and those are only in the suites, but even with her age, we found nothing lacking. The buffet gets crowded, but other than that I had no complaints. The food was OK - not great. The entertainment was the best of any ship I have been on - and we cruise at least twice a year, so that's a big endorsement. The bars and night clubs were a lot of fun.

By the way, you may not know that Carnival has the largest standard cabins of any cruise line - 185 sq. ft. compared to 155 - 175 on others.

Carnival delivered what it promised and we enjoyed our cruise, and I hope you do too!

I am a tvl agent, who has booked many cruises with Carnival. Carnival is a great cruise line and their ships are up to date. The Inspiration was remodel/rennovated a few years ago. I have not been on that ship but will be sailing on Oct 22 with 38 other people. When are you going? I am sure you will not be disappointed!!

Best entertainment is a good good thing. alot of the entertainment generally can get old if you see it over and over. You will have a good time.
