All kids love ice cream from all eras and time periods. As it becomes more readily available with lower pricing, healthier (and not healthier) options, and various brands, flavors and types as well as advanced refrigeration (in comparison to years past) it becomes a treat that is more possible for children to have.
It is not that they like it more than their predecessors, it is that it is now easier to get.

Really? I think it's the opposite because I remember when I was younger I would never say no to ice cream or candy and now kids give you disgusted faces like not now! I still love ice cream!
