the key to getting a flat stomach/six pack is lowering body fat percentage which you achieve by healthy diet and exercise.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), weight training a few days a week but never work on the same muscle group two days in a row (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

There's nothing fast and easy about getting abs. Fat usually collects in the abdomen first and it's the last place it goes away. So if you have belly fat, you need to get rid of all the other fat on your body first because you can't spot reduce. Losing weight is an all over body experience.
So first order of business is to eat less and exercise more. Do a lot of cardio & lift some weights. More muscle means a faster metabolism which means you burn more calories. During this time you need to work those abs as well so once you've lost the weight about your middle, your abs will be noticeable.

There are no fast & easy ways to get six-pack abs. If it was fast & easy, then everyone would have them...
The only way is to get your body fat down to 6-8%. So exercise more and consume less.
Good luck.

No, No No...this is a myth. It is a complete and total myth that cardio will get rid of stomach fat. I know plenty of people who have done just cardio & no weights & they still have fat. Unfortunately most people are very misinformed about this. Another myth is that you can get rid of stomach fat by just doing ab exercises. You have to burn the fat first.
Here's a great site that will point you in the right direction:

I would check it out. Good luck!
