Is this software all that it says it is? Does it do a good job?

Is the WACOM INTUOS3 9 X 12 GRAPHIC TABLET a good buy?

Wacom tablets are good products. I have used them for many years with PhotoShop.

I have no experience with Corel Painter, no doubt it will do all it says it does, but the examples they show are being done by professionals with lots of experience that get paid lots of money to create the images just to show off all the bling.
