I want to have a little knowledge, possible scenarios about it before I take it in.

If under the dash, you either trash in the scroll fan of the blower motor or a worn bearing in the blower motor. I have even seen dead mice in them as well as packed with dog food from critters.

If it is under the hood, you probably have a compressor problem.

Start with the blower motor, your description sounds like that is the problem.

If you are still under warranty or puchased a Service Contract, take it to the dealer, it should be covered, depending on the contract.

You've picked up trash in the squirrel cage. Could be a tissue from inside or leaves from out side. I think you can remove the blower motor from under the dash and clean out the cage.
I've done lots of them.

It may be that your blower motor has something in it .It is not likley that the blower motor is bad but is possible.If you do have to have it changed it will not cost much should be right around 100 to 150 bucks labor and all.GOOD LUCK!

you have something rolling in your blower motor fan.which is under the dash on passenger's side held by 3 screws.

its hard to say since we cant look at it, but first guess is the a/c clutch is going bad or the bearings in the clutch.
