When i think of "faith", I think of believing or trusting in something that has not been necessarily proven to be true, but your belief or conviction in this "thing" is SO strong (for whatever reason) that you "just do" [believe in it]. When I think of "faith", I usually associate it with God, because I believe that with God (and, of course, a little hard work) all things are possible. But there's got to be some element of uncertainty there, and that's where the faith comes in - it takes the place of the uncertainty.

Faith to me is my belief in God. It includes the idea that His Son died for me and through Jesus I can be saved. Many of the ideas and rules in the Bible are included in my faith. But full faith comes from my relationship with God and the interaction between us.

Faith is a complete trust, confidence and reliance in God. It is a firm belief without proof, a yearning from the bottom of one’s heart for God’s kingdom to come. It means absolute allegiance, loyalty and fidelity to God no matter under what circumstances.

I think the faith chapter in Hebrews 11 describes it well-
1: faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we can't see...2: Because of our faith, we know that the world was made at God's command. We also know that what can be seen was made out of what can't be seen.

Faith is based on belief. Do I believe in the invisible God. Most definitely. Simple.
faith is also based on prophecies that have transpired, things I do see and hear, basically reinforces my faith.
faith is not unlike knowing a mother loves her children, even when she is not with them. The children know with out seeing. They have faith (they know) that their mother loves them.
God Bless

faith is the immovable feeling you have that isn't influenced by outside, I said operative word outside, influences by profiteering selfish people and systems. More or less.
