Of course they would. God would save them and rapture them all up to heaven where they'll wait for the worms to come and say "Oh, dammit, I wish I had actually lived my life instead of waiting for this sh*t."
How can it be suicide if it is God's will, Cindy? EVERYTHING is God's will, according to Christianity. Therefore he willed all the horrors and trauma into existence along with the nice hand-holding moments.
And Paul Cyp, who is "authorized" to say anything? God? The Bible was written from men who say they had 'divine inspiration'. Anyone else can do the same thing - "God spoke to me and I put his words down in this here $27.99 hardcover novel." How do you know they were even being honest? Faith is fine but let your faith have reason. What if the Second Coming came and you and many of your fellow Christians lost out because you wouldn't believe? Because Christ will come down on a cloud? So will the Rain Fairy but I don't plan on believing that she is real or makes the rain. She's a sweet story. I wish the Bible was too.
Abaddon is right. You'll be told that you're misinterpreting it, that God's bridge is a metaphor, just like having two goats or wearing cotton-polyester blends or... no, being gay is unforgivable. Even though the 'Lord' himself said that the only unforgivable sin was taking his name in vain (which everyone interprets differently - some see it as a way of living their lives, others become so obsessive-compulsive and pious that they rather than utter certain words they take their anger out on their children or their loved ones). This is Christianity - "Believe what you want to believe, only I am right." Look at the dude putting down the Protestants, and we all know the Catholics get crucified in this section by their 'fellow Christians'. I have been lucky enough to find some Christians who actually believe in love and tolerance and follow the way Jesus lived his life, not for the words others jotted down about black & white and right & wrong.
My mother would have said exactly the same. Then again, my mother never went to church. Thank God.

In New Zealand we jump off bridges - it's called bungy jumping.
Don't remember seeing it in the bible, but a lot of people say this is a life changing experience.
I think your question is bizarre. Not sure what your point is either.

If the infallible Church of God told me that the Bible said that, than yes, I'd do it. But the mere fact that some unauthoritative individual THINKS the Bible says that, according to his personal interpretation? Not a chance! We already have Protestant pastors who are telling people the Bible says we should pick up venomous snakes and drink poison! Yeah right!

Well, it kinda does tell that
It tells us that we have to die in this life we live for ourselves and start living only for God. That is as hard as jumping of a bridge and we have to do it everyday!
I don't think i'd literally jump of a bridge though

I have literally jumped off a few bridges because my friends told me to. I am still here and laughing about it.

No - there is no parallel in Scripture to support that action - In fact there is the opposite. Satan invited Christ to jump of the temple roof because the Scripture said that his angels would take care of him. Christ declined saying; ...you shall not put the Lord your God to the test [Matthew 4:5-7].
