Would you consider mysticism as a magical practice?

I don't need to know the WIkipedia entry. I just need to know if practicing mysticism (which involves communing with supernatural or deified entities, such as GOD) would involve using magic.
If the mystic is in spiritual communion with a godly presence then the mystic would perform magic right?

Not necessarily. Many Mystic around the world practice the art without magic. Many use trances to commune with the great beyond. In fact, many of these trances are induced by severe pain.
