They do not believe in Jesus and His teachings. They do not know that His power and love are real. They have a religion instead of a personal relationship with the King of Kings.

Revelation has been close since the day the book was written. Why do I reject it? I reject all works of fiction, books that come from the minds of men. A book that has been translated and edited time and time again. A book with so many contradiction it is not funny (or maybe it is!) Christians pick and choose what to believe and what they consider must be misinterpretations, If one thing is misinterpreted who is to say the entire book is not one big misinterpretation? For those who say it is all true, well please explain the unicorns that are mentioned no less than 9 times.
Also what percentage of the world do you believe is Christian? Witches are a VERY small percentage of those who are not.

Witches believe in nature and study a religion called Wicca a form of Paganism. I know little of Paganism but if you look this up you will find out why they don't follow the Bible. Most Witches were from Europe and believed in usually at least three goddess's and two gods. They also believed in ritual magic through their gods and incantations to them. A definite no no according to the New and Old testament. Our Bible states that some will refuse Jesus even after witnessing his second coming. I'm sure most witches will fit into this category of people.

Witchcraft is generally not a religious belief, it is a practice that can be used by any religion or by someone with no religion at all.
If you are refering to Pagans, which is a term refering to people who do not follow the Abrahamic, Dharmic, or Taotic religions, it has nothing to do with rejection. It has to do with what their beliefs are and what is spiritual to them. Christianity is not something that is spiritual to pagans, thus they do not follow those doctines.
For most pagans, including Wiccans, they have a personal connection with their chosen form of the divine. They feel that the divine is with them at all times, and is not seperate from the world and universe around them. It is for this reason that most pagans do not feel a need for a form of salvation, because they do not have to ask as god for it, the divine is part of them.
Hope this clears up a little,

I suppose you would call me a witch for not believing in the bible either right?
I don't believe in your god.
I don't believe in heaven or hell.
I believe the bible has nice poetry and some nice morals and stories but beyond that it is nothing more then a book written by prophets and madmen.

Mainly for the same reason you don't believe in their spells. Fayth is a very personal thing. One cannot just expect everyone else to believe the same things. That's why we have so many Fayth's in the great world of ours. People are free to follow the promptings of their own conscious. No one religion can proven or disproved, thus the Fayth factor in religion.

Maybe it is because "witches" (by which I am assuming you mean Wiccans and other Pagans) are more likely to feel that Jesus is only ONE of MANY Gods.
"Anointed Ones" can appear in many faiths, so to have a faith that can INCLUDE Jesus is not necessarily a bad thing.
But, given the similarities in stories told of Jesus and Dionysus -- Why do YOU regect the God of the Vine?

well, paul, i reject the bible and christ because i have studied both for most of my life and find the bible to be only a book and christ to be one of many dieties.
most witches do not believe in the bible or in christ - nor do we believe in hell or the devil. we do not believe in the rapture or what the book of revelation is saying.
if christianity works for you, wonderful.
my faith works for me - and it's none of your business how or why.

Your religion is Christianity, and although this may come to a shock to you, yours is not the only religion in the world. there are plenty of people all over the world who don't believe in God, the Bible, or the story of Revelation.
Shinto, Tao, Buddhism, Wicca, Muslim, etc. just to name a few

Because they believe in something that out dates the bible and Christ.
I have seen no evidence that revelation is close.
