There is absolutely nothing that I would not do to assure the safety of my family. Nothing. I would do anything. I believe in laws, but, if I were to see the starving face of my baby, I would steal, beg, or anything. Love of our families is what makes life worth living. Our children are our responsibilities and as such, I will do anything in my ability to care for them. I have said it before, i would even bare Rush Limbaugh's love child. That is big for me!
Walking over some invisible line would be an easy thing to do- and, yes, without hesitation I would leave everything I know: friends, family, city, country, language, and, food. How bad must life be to go to the complete unknown?

There is but one way to immigrate to a new country, and that is LEGALLY.
For those of you making excuses for breaking the law to "support our family", where would you draw the line?? You obviously think if you don't agree with a law, it's ok to break it.
How about breaking into a vending machine to get food?
How about breaking open a change machine to get money to get food?
Would you think it's ok to be a purse snatcher to support your family??
How about stealing from a bread truck
How about robbing a bank?
A law is a law. If you break it, prepare to face the consequences.
And the poster above me says...and by the way...your family is waiting. If you are thrown in prison, they are going to be waiting a LONGGGG time.
Lots of people in prison can attest to this. I'm sure a lot of people there only committed crime to "support their family"
If you broke some of these other laws and you show up before a judge, which of the above crimes do you think he would say oh OKAY, you only did it to support your family...you are free to go.

At first I was going to say yes.I thought about your question and now I would have to say no way.
I come from a long line of fighters who would rather go down fighting for change than to take the easy way out.
My German grandfather came from a wealthy family but at age 14 he joined the US Army to fight with Teddy Roosevelt. His family disowned him for it.
My other grandfather was born in the USA but went to Russia during their 1917 Revolution because it was something he believed in.Right or wrong, they were strong charactors.
My husband was 9 years old during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.He witnessed many people run over by communist tanks and people being shot dead on the city streets.
Hungary is a tiny country and they were willing to fight a Super Power like Russia to get their freedom. They lost their revolution but they did gain the respect of other countries and some of their rights were enforced by Russia.
Sometimes you have to stand up and fight for what you believe in and not take the easy way out.

you are correct. my fiance is italian and we have gone through a year of process just to get married. it is very hard to immigrate legally, and if you are poor it is next to impossible. all those people who talk bad about immigrants dont realize that if it was their own family they would do the same to give them a better life. and also the more people who scream "keep the immigrants out" are not stopping illegal immigration, but rather making it harder for the legal ones, the process gets harder every month or so, they add more restrictions and make the wait time longer. my fiance, while being interviewed for his visa, met a couple that had been waiting for 12 years to get a visa.

Are you saying turn black as in tanning, getting darker? No, they would just get a light tan but not real dark as the darkest complexion to ebony black. And if you're talking about the race, since you mentioned live in Africa for generations of course if they're going to mix with black African and have biracial children coming in different variety of skin shades.

No!! You want to know why? Because like in their own countries there are jobs available to them. I hear this from down in Mexico, and from Mexican people. So if it seems that just getting a better education is all they need, then that's where they should start. especially with their children. Getting them the better education in Mexico. And if people from Mexcio are saying this... then it only stands to reason that the other countries are saying the same things, doesn't it?! Whose fault is it they didn't further their education? Not mine, not yours, and sure as heck not anyone else's. Their answer isn't coming here. Their answer is getting off their own butts, and building themselves a better life from wherever they came from. I'm so sick and tired of hearing that they can't help themselves in their own countries, but they can sure as heck do it here. As well as take advantage of the American people, the American system, and our tax dollars.
I'm also sick and tired of hearing about how much it cost them to come here legally. Too bad!! If they can't do it legally... then don't do it at all. We have immigration applications for a reason. Not just for show. Others have done it legally. It took them a long time too. Not once have they b_tched about it, and waited in line. And most of them from what I hear want the illegals to go about it the same way they had to.
Or that they come to do the work the Americans won't do. The government created a law that Americans can legally be fired by the companies that once employed them. And replace them with LEGAL foreign workers. Has this govenrment followed this law of theirs?... Sure to have Americans fired. The rest of of the law doesn't seem to matter. They've allowed these businesses to hire both legal and illegals even knowing that ANY BUSINESS that HIRES illegals is illegal. So the jobs that AMERICANS aren't willing to do is a load of crock. These businesses just don't want to shell out minimum wages to fill those jobs with American workers first.
We have 9 different guest work visas already. And we have a chicken sh_t government that wants to help Bush create more guest worker visas. We don't need anymore guest worker visas created. And for once in their life, this government had better pull up their socks and not only abide by our immigration laws themselves. But also for the limits of forgeign guest workers that are suppose to even be allowed to come annually. That's 2 million legal people world wide. And that's more than enough that need come here annually. because at least that way, the economy, and stability of this country stays in balance. Instead of this flooding of illegals that create unbalance in the economy, and public services that will drag this country down.
And the way things are going my family would be dead by allowing this to continue to happen. My family, and other American families become the ones who will have lack of food, health, and Medical care, assisted programs that are set up for LEGAL citizens. So what you are saying is to allow the illegals to keep coming and kill my family in this fashion as well as others.
And people die, it's a fact of life. Think about these words. Nobody gets out of this world alive.
Everything the American people are being told is a load of crock. Even the junk you're trying to fill our heads with. If you and they don't like our American laws, then they shouldn't come here illegally by breaking our laws. Period end of story
And that ain't HATEN... IT'S STATEN FACTS. Not fiction So get over it already.

My relatives would help me-no reason at all to commit a crime by sneaking around into someone elses country. That`s what caring American citizens do for each other in times of need. There are also friends to help and the public.

Yes I would. What I dont understand is why no one is answering the original question. so maybe I will ask it again. IF your family needed the help today and the only option you had was to leave your country to another country illegally would you let your family starve or would you do what it takes to feed that family??
I will let you know I would do anything for my family. I dont have children yet but I do have custody of a 15 year old and i do whatever I have to do to make sure she is taken care of. And she is not my child. I dont care what it takes. The only rules I have is I would not kill. If it takes crossing a border to get to the other side i will do it. I dont care who likes it or who doesnt like it.
