No, the parent will give up any rights to the child, including the obligation to support him/her.

I'm not entierly sure I understand the question but here it goes. Both the mother and the adopted mother will have to get a lawyer. One will draw up the adoption papers and the other is there to protect the mothers rights, and make sure it's really what she wants to do. I'm not sure, but then they have to go to court and get the child legally decreed as the adoptive parents child. After this point the birth mother has no financial obligation. She has no parental rights eaither. I'm not sure how much all of this can be done for, but if both parties agree it shouldn't cost too much at all.

Normally, upon adoption, the adopting person acquires the legal title of "mother" and the woman who yielded up the child is out of the picture in all aspects. The birth mother has no rights (may not demand to have any contact with the child or to control any part of the child's upbringing) or responsibilities (may not have demands for funds placed upon her). In many states, the records are sealed to prevent either the birth mother or the child from finding each other.

As a mom - it breaks my heart. because of the fact the spouse of a Corrections Officer, I understand why. to commence off with, we are speaking approximately 2 diverse states - it would desire to be around the border and the crimson tape and fee in touch is astronomical. you will possibly wish 2 to 3 diverse federal correction officers from each and each state who could be working added time, you will possibly prefer to be waiting to pay for food and shield housing of the prisoner earlier, throughout, and after transport. you will possibly wish particular permission for the prisoner to even bypass to the scientific institution (our community scientific institution in straight forward terms facilitates one prisoner of their scientific institution at all of us time, if somebody else gets harm or ill, they might desire to trip an hour and a a million/2 to a various scientific institution, even however there is one half-hour away - although that's around the border) finally, this actual prisoner could be an issue in the ability, and the determination could be in keeping along with his checklist in the ability itself. there is often something of the story...
