e, all of them are homeostatic mechanisms. Virtually any bodily function except for reproduction can broadly be seen as performing some homeostatic function. Feedback loops work in metabolism and thus help the body maintain blood glucose levels, among other things. The Immune system fights off infection that disrupts homeostasis. Hemostasis is halting of bleeding and maintaining blood volume is necessary for temperature control and oxygen transport among other things. Redirection of blood flow helps maintain oxygen flow at different parts of the body.
