I found a stray kitten last Friday. It was, and still is, very emaciated. My family is currently trying to nurse it back to health and the kitten is doing quite a bit better. We've had some disagreements on what we should name it.

We believe the kitten is a male (it's a bit hard to tell because there is no muscle back there and I'm not sure things are in the right place). It is a dark charcoal gray and has a very sweet personality.

So if you could please pick your top three favorite names and please no naming websites! If you want you could also give girl names in case we find out later that it really is a girl.

You should pick the name yourself. You found the cat so it is only fair you name it. Name it for something or someone close to your heart. That way when you call the cat you will always have found memories.

I had the same thing happen to me about a year ago. I named him Kemper (long story about the name). So...suggestions:

Varsity
Dylan
Connor
Cujo (lol jk)
Dare
Marti (short for Martini, my old hermit crab)
Cosmo (Relating to: Kramer, Fairly Odd Parents, the magazine, the drink, etc.)
Fighter
Ali [Ah-lee] (named after Muhammed Ali, the boxer, for his strength and faith (b/c he was weak and is now getting stronger))

Good luck!

You can never go wrong with Scooter. Smokey is good because he is gray but its probably been used many times before. If you want to be different try cloud.

I hate naming my pets ptupid and stereotype things like Fluffy or Mittens. I love giving them real names like Johnny or Stevie or Charlie. My cat's name is Marco. He lives up to it.

lucky, i agree with lucky...knew a cat once a long time ago, was a very lucky cat tho he only had part of a tail and one ear in tact, he was lucky cause he was found and had a home with some folks who cared for him and had him properly and regularly vetted, and kept him in and spoilt him stinking rotten for the rest of his long life.
