Sounds like a kanka sore, it can be commen in young children my son who will be seven next month gets them often. The doctor recomended warm saltwater rince or you can buy over the counter kanka sore pens that you just dab on the spots. Sometimes they can be caused by acidic things like tomato or they can also be hormonal or genetic. But they go away and are pretty harmless .

Does her breath smell bad? Does she have any blisters on her tongue, and does she have a fever? Both my young sons got cold sores for the first time earlier this summer, and the pediatrician said the first time is always the worst. Nothing we could really do, except give them a 1teas/1teas (depends on childs weight) malox/benedryl solution to cut the acid and ease the pain. Does your pediatrician have a 24 hour on-call nurse? If not, try calling a hospital and talking with their on-call nurse.

its probably ulsers
i get them all the time, and they hurt like crazy!
gargleing warm salt water can help
and there is this oral numbing stuff that also helps numb it for a while and heal it
it will go a way in about a week or two
if thats what it is.

NIKI,
THIS SOUNDS FROM ALL THESE SYMPTOMS LIKE AN ABSCESS. GIVE HER SOME CHILDREN'S MOTRIN UNTIL SHE SEES A DENTIST, AND HAVE HER EAT A SOFT DIET.
