Unless you suck down a cup of salad dressing with it the salad will not make much of a weight gain. In addition if you have it at night or if you have it with your breakfast cereal it is all the same in terms of what you eat counts not when you eat it.

It depends what the salad has in it and on it. A healthy salad is not going to be a problem. But often the dressing can have all kinds of nasty in it that are horrible for you.

salad has like 5 calories,
unless you load it with dressing, and the rule is 2 hours

I think what ever you might put on the salad could make you fat.
