If your dog's biting you,he's just a pup and is playing around. He doesn't mean it and thinks that's how he has fun.Give him a toy or two that he knows he can chew on.If he doesnt grow out of it and wont stop biting then tell him the term ''no'' or ''bad dog'' when he stops reward him with a treat and praise him with ''good dog'' and along the lines of that. Hope that helps

If he's biting himself and he doesn't have flea's or ticks or any others along the lines he may have a skin problem or allergies. Take him to the vet and check up with him on his problem. They should give you the medication needed for your dog to stop this problem. My dog had an itching problem once and wouldn't stop biting into her skin. Our vet suggested Benadryl but talk to your vet first about it.. Overdosing your pet with it can be harmful and will have a bad effect toward your pet. Hope this helps and good luck. Kelly

Ok. This simple but I am including a link to back me up.
Do this to your pup as it's teething - do not be mean about it otherwise other problems will occur.

When he/she start to bite grab the muzzle (not in a mean way) put your hand around the muzzle and look into the eyes and say in a strong voice "NO BITE", do not hold onto the muzzle longer than three to four seconds, you may also teach by conditioning it by say the word ouch! Extractly how it felt when it happened so for example Mattie Ou..ch! In a whine fashion, or repeatedly saying no bite in a firm tone without grabbing the muzzle will also do it. You mayalso do all of the above w/o holding the muzzle.

When he bites you Make a loud noise and turn away from him. This will let him know that he is hurting you and that he wont get the attention that he wants when he bites. DO NOT HIT your dog this encourages aggressive behavior. Make sure he has a few chew toys only one or two.Any more than that he he will think that it is okay to chew on everything. Hope this helps .Good luck

You have to let the dog know that you are in charge. I would not recommend hitting him, though. When he bites, or is about to, I would say you loudly and firmly make a noise or say, "NO" to him. Do it everytime. He should get the message because he will not like the loud, firm sound that you make at him, everytime he is about the do that unwanted behavior.

he is a puppy so this is natural he will out grow it. but to discourage this behavior tap him on the nose and say in a firm (but not screaming) voice no, bad dog, or stop. or if you use a crate you can put him in there for a breif time after he has bit a few things (not after every bite). hope this helps.

He's a puppy, puppies chew (or bite). He should grow out of it. But when he does, just ever so gently swap him on the head, and sharply (but not loudly) say no, bad dog, letting him no that isn't ok.

If he's biting you in play, stop the play and tell him no. If he continues turn away from him after you stop the play or just get up and leave. He wants to play with you, so eventually, hopefully, he'll get the jest.

its normal for him to bite because he is teething. a trick that i used with my dog (that really really works) is that everytime he comes to bite you, take one of his toys and put it in his mouth. do this often and he will stop biting you.
its the "no violence" method lol. he is young and doesn't know his own strength. if he gets older and still does (which he shouldnt) then say no!

Either shove your fist in their mouth and they feel kinda helpless cuz they cant bite you or hold their mouth shut and if it is really bad, bite down on their nuzzle just enough to make them yelp or squel a little.
