your not allowed to drive on the motorways for some reason only chinese people ive heard.I have got an electricl bike that takes me around the city never been stopped. ive also heard they want to ban motor bikes in some cities if you get caught they will take away your bike and fine you alot of money about 2000 rmb a time its best to get a train you can talk to chinese people find out about where your going I live in China

I have never done it. The condition of the roads is not so good, and people are really crazy drivers.
In some villages you can rent a bicycle, but I have never heard of a motorcycle being for rent.

you don't want to do that!!!. China is very nice in many ways, but people drive CRAZY!!!
