Browning Hi Power P35.
It was the finest acheivement from the man who designed the most important weapons of the 20th century and still the best pistol ever designed.
Originally made with a 13 round magazine, it was later made with up to 17 rounds.
Double action pistols are for lawyers and pansies! (I'm kidding folks....NOT!)
"When it was introduced early in the 20th century, the Browning Hi Power 9mm pistol was a revelation. It offered the perfect balance of handling, size and firepower, with an impressive 13-round magazine capacity. Over the years, the Hi Power has aged gracefully and continues to have a loyal following among those “in the know.” Whether you are a novice or a seasoned shooter, you will appreciate the fine craftsmanship and function of these classic pistols, the sure heft of the machined steel frame and slide, and their natural pointability. Even with the double-column magazine, the grip is narrow to neatly accommodate nearly every hand size, and the single-action trigger provides a smooth, consistent pull. As reliable, accurate and easy to shoot as ever, every true firearm enthusiast should have a Hi Power in their collection."

The H & K is a 'handsome' gun that holds about that many rounds. All 1911s are great looking guns, but only the .38 Super and the .9mm 1911 hold ten rounds (nine + one). The Browning Hi Power P-35 is also a nice looking little .9mm with a larger ammo capacity than eleven.
If you don't mind 'ugly,' Glocks hold even more ammo and you have many different caliber choices. Even their .45s hold at least that many rounds and you have: 1. The full-size Glock Model 21 (& several sub compacts to choose from); 2. The new Glock Model 37 in .45 GAP (n the subcompact); 3. The new Glock Model 21 SF for the shooter with smaller hands.
Best.

Para Ordnance P-13 Limited or P-14 Limited. Both are .45ACP. The P-16 is a 16 round in 40S&W while the P18 is an 18 9MM model. The grip is only a fraction larger in diameter than a conventional single stack 1911 and the limited versions are in stainless steel. Limited versions a few desirable additions that enhance functionallity and look really good too!

A pair of nicely engraved Colt Single-Action Army Revolvers. Between the two, they hold 12.
In my opinion, there is no such thing as a pretty flatgun.

1911 high caps always look good. Sigs are also great tactical looking well functioning guns.Of course most custom built pistols are high cap in many calibers, and are stunning when it comes to looks.Taurus sells limited edition guns that are also very nice.

Sig Sauer P226
Glock is very boxy and square looking, pretty ugly but works.
Of course, the best looking would always be the M1911A1

I think my CZ-75 (Czech model 1975) is the prettiest combat pistol of all. some guns copy it, e.g. Bren 10 and EAA Witness.
