Money, feelings, and scare tactics.
I have no idea why some people are obsessed with claiming that the world is coming to an end or revolves around their religious or spiritual beliefs. I can understand concern about global warming, asteroid impacts, or nuclear weapons, but Jesus coming out of the clouds??

They want to have sex with dead bodies you are trying to say? That doesn't make sense.
People are worried about it, because right now there are some bad people with the capabilities to do some serious damage if not end the world.

According to the Word of God, there is no end of the world. The re-creation of the world has begun, along with Tribulation. The End of the World As we know it will follow Armageddon, and a new earth will be a paradise for man, and for Christ.
