Jesus said that the unbelievers would hate you for my sake. So it is happening now. They point to things like the crusades and witch hunts. Things carried out by a devil perverted few hundreds of years ago. They say we are intolerant. Again the bible has a answer: They are looking at the splinter in our eye while not seeing the log in their own. They actually say we are angry. How many Christians have you seen that get angry when non-believers confront them? Maybe 15-20% if that much. Now how many atheists get angry when a Christian confronts them? Lets be nice and say 75%. (It's more like 90% in actuality)
The atheists are not just satisfied lying to us they even lie to themselves and believe it! Do you know why they have such a hard time believing in a power greater than themselves? It's not because science points more to the non-existance of God then to his existance. (Another one of their delusions) It's because of one hyphenated word: self-centeredness

If anyone thinks that Christians(as a whole) are evil then they have some serious issues and shouldn't be listened to in the first place.
Sometimes I get angry with Christians because there are a lot of them where I live and they are very forceful with their beliefs. As long as they aren't doing then they are fine. I respect other people's beliefs and I wouldn't just walk up to them and start telling them why I don't believe in god. I expect to get the same respect back. That is the only time that they bother me.
I understand that their intentions are good because they're trying to "save my soul" but it's just plain rude.

I don't hate the people (some of them I dislike very much) but the system of their beliefs that make them hate me. I could care less if you pray to a god or to the toilet bowl, just let me believe my way adn you can have yours. What is evil is what the "christians" have done in the name of their god. the witch hunts (most of these women adn men were upstanding christian people), Inquisition, the Crusades, and the slow extermination of a religion that existed before your did. the intolerance of a group that would make them cancel a memorial service simply because the Christian veteran was gay. (Some church in texas.....great only in Texas!)

I am fortunate to have fine real true honest to God Christians as family.which i have learned so much from. but theirs many many weird Christians out their as i have met some. and those people who put down Christians just never have met any of my family members.or true loving Christians who have the love of God in them.some people think of their church as a private club.I have been hurt by so called Christians.all who call on the name of the Lord will not be saved, said Jesus.

Because enough people who call themselves christians do behave in an arrogant, evil judgmental way.
It also seems to me as if some christians would like to act as if they were a god or something, as if their knowledge encompassed all knowledge of the world and they were the final authority (when in fact they have no proof of anything except a bad attitude and no humility)
Maybe some don't but certainly enough do.

Christians get a bad rep because of a select group of them are hateful and not a good example of the Christian spirit.
And the Westboro Baptist church isn't helping any.

I don't hate Christians.
However, I've been irritated by what some people do in the name of Christianity. For example, I get evangelized a lot, even after I've politely declined listening, and it's done in settings I feel are inappropriate (like during work hours).

I don’t hate Christians. I find some of their beliefs to be a little incredulous, but they are pretty nice for the most part. That is of course excluding the crazies.

what if you were approached by a person who looked down on you so long as you maintained your personal freedom to choose and to respect yourself?
what if you were told you were not part of an elite group of warriors who will one day return with Jihad Jesus to slay the non believer and drip with blood in a holy war/crusade?
what if you were told if you didn't obey me, then you would surely be damned or shunned?
