It is spam. Go through a legitimate lending institution. These types are not as bad as the one's you see on Dateline, but the next worst thing.
Your interest rate will probably be 30% (i.e. Loan Shark).

*Scam Alert**

Beware of Advance fee Loan scams.
ALL so called "Private Lenders" who ask for fees upfront are scammers...
my Advice: Don't deal with anyone from a foreign country and never use wire/bank transfer services.. you risk losing your $$ and your mind.
Don't pay attention to the people on here who are trying to Scam you.

Beware of Advance fee Loan scams.
LOAN SCAM - Do Not Pay UpFront Fees.
Do not send money UpFront via Western Union or MoneyGram to any person or business in the UK, Nigeria or Canada in hopes of getting a loan. If you do you will learn a hard lesson & never see any Loan money.

Remember, if it sounds too good
to be true, it probably is! NEVER give out your personal information to strangers online! Always be on guard.
Please be aware. You have been warned!

I think it's a scam. Try talking to a professional at your bank about getting a loan, also, you can research online to find institutions that could loan you the money you need. Before doing this though, decide if what you want all this money for is really necessary. And if it can wait. If it can, try some techniques to raise your credit score. Just about anything that requires making payments to an account raises that score: cell phones, credit cards, car payments, financing options with stores (electronics, etc).

Yes, it's a scam. Part of her loan tems will probably be an upfront fee you have to pay. Then you won't necessarily get the loan anyway, but will be out the fee.

First clue - a legitimate lending company would have their own id and wouldn't be using a yahoo email address. And they didn't give you the name of the company? That would make checking them out pretty hard, wouldn't it.

Well, here's a couple of things when looking at scams... they should have an email address at the same domain where their business is located.

For instance I work for Chase and my email is casey.x.casperson@chase.com. I also have valide website that chase makes for me at caseycasperson.com which directs you right into my chase website. You can also find me by going to chase.com, searching for mortgage bankers and find me in florida.

If you need a mortgage, feel free to contact me.
