Some men you may just "know," although this can often be a misconception, as there could be many men you think who are gay but are not. Most men you wouldn't know one way or the other. So unless they tell you personally what their preference is, there's no real way to know. However, I don't see where it matters greatly. What reason would you need to know?

I've actually asked a gay guy himself that how can i know if some person is gay or not !! and he said there is no particular thing that can tell you. The dressing , the behaviour , the speech .. these can vary from person to person and one cant tell if he is gay or not
according to gay guys, they have the 'ábility' to know if the other is gay and we straighties cant =D

You don't know unless he tells you himself. There is no particular feature that all gay guys have in common and no straight guy has. They don't look any different, so there's no way to tell for sure.

If he tells you. Can't judge someone of the way they look or act. Sometimes it may seem obvious that they're gay but they may not be..like Little Richard the singer. : )

If he phsycially runs away from women, if he treats them really bad, and if when introduced to a woman, he will flee and find excuses to go join his brothers or another guy at the moment. Usually his flimsy handshake, or the way he holds something will give you a clue right away.
