Well first you have to be sure the dog has worms. If you bring a stool sample into your vets and have them check it then they can give you the right medication to give your dog. It shouldn't be over 20 dollars.

It all depends on your location and what worms your dog has. It can range from $20-$250 depending on how many cycles you have to give the medicine for. Before buying deworming pills you need to identify what kind of worms it is. You could harm your animal. Also some medicines aren't safe for younger dogs. If your dog has worms it could have more than one type. Some aren't visible until after effects start occuring such has blood in the stool. Deworming pills has worked on 1 dog out 5 at our house and does not work on some worms and once again like I said there are some worms that you don't know your pet has.

You can take a stool sample to the vet and have it checked for worms and the vet can give you the needed wormer. Vets charge $15-30 according to which vet you use and where you live. Ivr the counter dewormers are not worth the money they cost. Get the wormer from the vet.

It depends on the type of worms.First, you will have to take a stool specimen to the vet to be checked. They will probably charge a fee for this.if it's roundworms,or hookworms, they will give the dog Nemex, which my vet does not charge for,but that doesn't mean that your vet won't. If it has whipworms or tapeworms, the medicine is more expensive.I would say about 20.00 average, but it could be more or less, depending on where you live and the individual vet. Also,I hope your dog is vaccinated and on heartworm preventative, because heartworms aren't so easy to get rid of.
