I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, & I'm not fluent enough. No one wants to hire me. These are the only jobs available in my town, & I don't have a car.

Probably not. you are overqualified in their standards. My dad's friend couldn't work at Wal Mart because he has a degree too.

More or less- yes, because they probobly already have someone who speaks Spanish. I don't think it really would make a difference if you didn't but even still. And carpool wise it depends on how far away the place is. If you work FT, then try to see if you can rent a car, or you could bike their :?

My friend in S.C. worked at Wal-Mart when she first got there. She has a college degree. Wal-Mart hired her right away. She quit in the fall when she got a teaching job and they told her she was welcome back anytime if she wanted to work during Christmas break and summer break.

Why don't you tutor kids or something? Of course fast food places or grocery stores will hire you. They will hire someone with no education at all with no problem!

Yikes. I think I would have picked a different major if I was told I'd not be fluent at the end.
