This is why I get sick and tired of people on here!
I just got a notice for a best answer, so I was looking at the others that mine was up against and it was about "when do you think the world will end" and one answer said....get this..."12/21/12....it's in the bible"
Does it get you angry, even if you don't believe in the bible, to see people make blatent lies like that, not out of humor or sarcasm, but out of ignorance?
And not only about the bible, but any book or movie saying "Oh evolution says we came from monkies" or other things like that?

Voice of reason, if you're going to make claims like that than give bible verses...
As far as I know, doesn't the bible say not to murder, have sex our of marriage, prohibitions against incest, etc.
Yeah...it does say that stuff, not justifying it.

People should never quote the Bible frivolously or without proper context. God meant something when He inspired those words and we should be careful with them.
Folks are always looking for "signs and wonders" especially indicators of when the world will end. But Scripture is very clear - and Jesus said Himself - that we do not know the hour. He will return "like a thief in the night."

first of all the world ends when god wants it to and thats not somthing that humans need to be worrying about, also the date 12/21/12 isnt on the bible. evolution it pithetic try not to get invovled with that junk

incest and murder is justified in the bible, as well as polygamy and rape, but does that validate is as a moral beacon for our youth or what we wish to pattern life after?
