we believe our beagle is pregnate, but we aren't for sure. I was wondering how long her pregnancy will last if she has been bread. thanks!

we don't have the money right now to fix my dog, thats why she hasn't been. we knew when she was in heat, and we put her in her pen, but the negihbor's dog climbed in and every time we chased him away, he just came back again.

Also, thanks to those of you who answered my REAL question and no thanks to those of you who gave me rude responses. If she does infact have puppies, it will not be hard to find them good homes, for we live in a rual area where beagles are popular.

Usually 63-65 days from the day of mateing!!! Give or take a couple days either way!!

You can find out for sure by taking her to the vet for an X- ray.This will tell you how many puppies,about how far along she is,and she will be given a check -u pu to make sure she is healthy.For instance,has she been vaccinated? Is she on heartworm preventative? And,when was she bred to the male? if you are going to breed dogs,you need to know all of these things BEFORE you breed them.Also,do you have homes for the puppies,if she is pregnant? If you can't find homes for them all,are you going to keep them,because this is what a responsible breeder will do,and will also take back any pups that have been sold,but are no longer wanted.There are also puppy shots,worming,puppy food,extra food for Mama dog,and messes,because pups are VERY messy.There is the possibility that Mama dog may need a C -section.Is your family prepared to pay for this,should it be needed? If not,then you should not be breeding dogs,and you should have the dog spayed.But to answer your question,it takes 57 - 63 days on average,from the date of the breeding,for a dog to give birth.

Well it can end tomorrow if you get here spayed as you should. Knowing how long a dog pregnancy lasts for (any dog)..is fundamental to breeding a dog and therefore you shouldn't be breeding. There was FAR FAR more to do before breeding that obviously hasn't been done otherwise the 'how long' question wouldn't arise.

You are going to let a dog get pregnant and you don't even know the gestation period?!?!?! SHAME ON YOU!!! Feel sorry for your dog and any pups she may have. As well as the homeless dogs that will die becasue you selfishly choose to bring MORE dogs into a world that cannot care for what is already here. Get your dog fixed and quit being a selfish jerk.

Considering half the words in your question are misspelled this question is not surprising that someone of your knowledge would breed their dog and not know what they are doing.
58-63 days please get her spayed so she doesn't have to experience this again.

Pretty much standard - 2 months.
Your beagle should not be pregnant, especially since you seem to have no clue as to what's going on.
Get her spayed please so it doesn't happen again.
