idk maybe. people who use fast food as their main source of meals may benefit from having less trans fat in their diet, but i highly doubt it will impact the average american....i mean there's still other kinds of fat in it.

No. This only makes the average uninformed american think they can eat more crappy fried food because they now think it is healthy for them. While trans fat is by far the worst type of fat, fat is fat. Fried is fried. You can't eat 2 peices of fried chicken, a biscuit, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw and think it is good for you, no matter what it is cooked in. People have been getting it shoved down their throat that trans fat is bad (which it is) and people are wanting to eat healthier. This is just the fast food industry's way of trying to get these poor uninformed americans to keep eating their food.

People do not go to restaurants for health reasons. They go for taste, If trans free is just as tasty, they'll do okay,if not, forget it.

it will have absolutely no effect as Americans are lazy and ignorant in general. everyone knows that they should eat healthy and exercise but the masses make up excuses for doing so. only 15% of the US population gets regular exercise, that about says everything.

IMO, if your career, etc. is more important than you health then just sufferer the consequences latter in life when your body starts to fail. it will be nobody's fault but you own.

no because it depends on how much they eat. and if they it alot then there's really no point restraunts changing their food to be trans free.
