My husband retired from the military... He had 100% service connected disability. He just recently passed away from the illness he was service connnected for. Ive gone to Social security, the VA, and his most recent job for benefits. I just want to make sure I am getting all I am entitled for...
Has anyone heard of suing the miltiary for service connected disabilities when they cause the death of a veteran?
Ive heard I am entitled to a settlement of some sort????

you are not entitled to anything of the sort. you will retain your TRICARE coverage and your commissary/exchange privileges until you remarry.

you may not sue the US military for service connected disabilities. he was getting everything he was entitled to already

Sueing the military. How do you justify this?
Hey! How does he get a 100% service disability , and had a job??????? Did he get a military pension? Then he didn't have a disability?
Maybe you should get your facts together and post this again.
Yes, I can see you want to th get every dime you can..

You heard wrong. If you've been to the VA, Social Security and his job then you've got your bases covered. US law does not allow suites against the military in cases like this.
