I'm not sure what they are or look like to make a substituion as we don;t have them in Australia.
Any suggestions....

go to Safeway/woolworths and just get a bag of caramels. They are found in the lolly isle in with the bags of licorice and this. Kraft would just be there name in other countries. Kind of like we have werthers

Kraft caramels are just that, caramel candy in a cube about half an inch per side. I can't think of any substitute for caramel besides caramel. They come in to flavors, regular caramel and chocolate.. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Kraft is a manufacturer of caramels that are individually wrapped bite-size candies - you should be able to substitute caramel in a jar - maybe about a 1 cup?

I make pecan turtles with Kraft caramels... Pecan halves Kraft Caramel (melted) Bakers semi-sweet chocolate (melted) On wax paper placed on a cookie sheet, place 2 or 3 pecan halves in a cluster together, pour a small amount of the melted caramel on top of the pecans (enough to coat the pecans) let cool, then pour the melted chocolate on top of the caramel (enough to coat the caramels) and let them cool completely. carefully remove the candies from the wax paper, place in a plastic container, with wax paper layered in between the candies... store in cool, dry place!
