god is common in all religions. god did not make religions, we did. god is a source of light/energy. which has been here before time and will continue after our time. he has been seen as the light energy by Arjuna at the time of bhagwat gita, Buddha at the time of enlightenment, Mahavira, moses, Jesus, Mohammad and many other seers and saints who have come afterwards.
all religions tell you to look inwards to seek god, you yourself are a part of god like the planets are parts of the sun. your ultimate destination is to merge into god like the destination of the planets is to merge into the sun.
all religions teach respect for fellow humans, compassion and love for all living things. but the so called custodians twist these teachings to suit their own hidden agenda. to say or believe that the religion one believes in is better than another is falsehood as all religions teach the same basics.
by harbouring such notions you go further from god then towards him.

God is he only thing that is common to all the religions .But the quality of the \\\\\god of diferent religions differ widely -very widely. Some Gods demand obeisance , some fear and some favours fro ther own creations .|When the God had been able to create the who;e uivese , why is it that the sme god is longing for devotion and respect from his own creations?
God created everything without anybody's intervention..Whgy is that the same god is protrayed as needing somebody's intervetion for his own cretions approaching HIM.? What happened to those who were born durint the millions of years before Jesus appeared on the earth?Did not god need anybody's intervention then? Or did the god have any body then to intervene on behalf of his creations ?
Were all the sould that were created by God before the cretion of Jesus lost ? Was or is Jesu more powerful that his own creator -the God .?
All religions have their idiosyncracies built into then according to the level of intelligence of th epersons who created hem and tampered with them by way of correction or improvement .God would himmself have created a religion , it was necessary for the humans for thier use to approach HIm .The mortals that created the religions in the name of some other mortals were / are not moe intelligent than God and they have committed a sin in claiming to be more intelligent than their own creator.

They all have money givers in common. As for the mediator, Jesus Christ, are you trying to say we need to go through a fictional character in order to have 'hope' and know 'God?' Sorry but your head might be in the sand on this one.

the concept of Faith. Faith in something that is supernatural and can't be explained by the scientific method or the five senses. Not all religions even believe in an afterlife.
Religion is not a bad word. It is just a name for your type of worship. Christianity (gasp!) is a religion.

All religions seek to explain the mystery of birth and death: is there a before life and after life, judgment, reincarnation, nirvana, salvation, damnation and many more. Religions may come and go, but these mysteries will always be with us.

They have separation in common. If you are not with them you are against them. They all start wars over whos God is the right one as well. Some dont want gays amongst their ranks either.
