There are blasphemy laws in the UK - The last man to be sent to prison for blasphemy was John William Gott. In 1922 he was sentenced to nine months' hard labour for comparing Jesus with a circus clown. BBC

Yes, but not in Mexico... 90% of the population is called Jesus. You can't name your kids Jesus in the US or UK because Christians will get confused and think it's the second coming.

There are many children, mostly Hispanic, named Jesus("Hay-sous")in the States.
There are still blasphemy laws in the UK but I do not think that taking the name Jesus( or Emmanuel or Christos) is illegal in the UK.

Here in the U.S. you can name (or call) your child whatever you please. Jesus is a common name for Mexican males (pronounced: HAY-soos) even for those living in America. Personally, I have never known or heard of a Caucasian male who goes by the name of Jesus, but either way, it is not against the law.

It is not illegal in the US. It is not common outside of Hispanic culture, however.
As I do not live in the UK, I cannot speak for the laws of that country.

Not in the USA. Why would it? The Hispanics name their boys Jesus all the time. But they pronounce it Hayzuse.

Jesus is the Greek version of Joshua. It's a common Spanish name. I don't think it's a problem.
