Or might there have been other debris in the water for him to get out of the water on? What purpose did God have for letting Jack freeze in that water when the Titanic sunk?

There are two things that always annoyed me about that movie. The first is the part about throwing the necklace over the side. The second was... If she just would have stayed on the life boat (like any sain person would have), Jack could have used the door to save him self. Then, they both would have lived and been happily ever after. Everyone thinks it is the greatest love story ever, but I think she is an idiot. (and maybe senile at the end)

Well, IF they were real people....... God gives us freedom of choice. Jack made the choice to not get out of the water. Jack killed Jack, not God.

I really wanted Jack to live too. I'll bet my dear friend Ramjet would have liked to see him make it out of that disaster alive as well. God wasn't responsible for his character's death though - that blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the writer.

They're fictional characters. The only people who killed Jack were the screenwriters.

It is obvious that God wanted the movie to be made.

If Rose layed crosswise there would have been room for him. What Rose did was no less than murder if you ask me.
