The other day, I got a map from Mapquest showing where I was going on vacation. My boyfriend did the same at his house and got the same map. The VERY next day, we did it again, with the same exact address (obviously) and it showed the same street, but many blocks back (we're going to the beach so it makes a big difference). Now we're confused. What happened?

Try using another site also for comparison...like googlemaps.com

Mapquest shows the shortest direct route to your distination however, the directions may very depending on construction and if you wish to avoid tolls.
I find they also spell out all directions as if you were a three year old. If you are asking for directions from a specific address you would think the person has knowledge as to how to get to the nearest highway.

I have also had problems with Mapquest. Usually I go to Maps on Yahoo as well then compare the two. MSN has maps as well.

I've had the same problem with MAPQUEST on several occassions.......it helps if you have an idea where you're going, otherwise MAPQUEST will route in an all about manner and you will end up farther away from your destination than you'd planned to.

Mapquest isn't very good. You should use Google maps.
