The question is what would you do if you had a chemical burn? Go to the Dr. So go to the VET. I am sure it would be a minimal cost. Perhaps some cream to put on it. Evita

This is a prime example of why I am anti-chemical for flea treatment. I use this supplement. http://springtimeinc.com/product/35/2 it is all natural and works wonderfully. I live in the south which has fleas all year and we have never even seen a flea on our dogs.
For now, call the vet to see if there is something you can do. Make sure to watch for infection.

try putting a little bit of cream that helps burns. im not sure of its name but they sell them in CVS and pharmacies. dont give him aspirins everyday. just every now and then cause they can be poisones to its stomach. keep the skin cool and try having ice on it for a little while. also keep it very clean so it wont get infected. and if you can take him to the vet they have better cream for that kind of stuff.
always ask before u buy flea control. many of those thing have alot of chemicals for some kinds pf dogs.

Do you have something soothing like Aloe for sunburn? That might help but chill it in the fridge for about 15 minutes before you apply it and make sure he doesnt lick it. I use Frontline at my vets suggestions.

Never use human analgesics on an animal!!! You may kill your dog.
Check with the vet on what to do but try using an ice pack on the area until you can get there. This may cool it a bit.
good luck!

Please get the dog to the vet. It's in pain and it needs help now. If you burned your self and were in pain you'd go to the doctor right?
He needs the vet, now ok.
