Why should I keep living?

Question

Now seriousley, whats the reason that I should keep living?

And no, I'm not thinking about killing myself, I'm just wondoring, why?

Because every day is a new adventure. Good or bad, something is going to happen, and you don't want to miss it do you?

Because life is the ultimate gift. Because you are smart and therefore have access to knowledge, another great gift. Because you are probably healthy, you can see, you can hear, you can type, so you can read novels, poetry or just newspapers (they can be great) and listen to music. You can see movies, you can see sunsets, and sunrises if you get up early enough. You can kiss children, you can dance, you can swim, take a nice hot whower, wash your hair, brush it, cook a meal or if you do not know how to cook, you can learn or look up recipes, or invent a meal and share it with a friend, you can talk to people, even unknown people on the street, you can watch children play in the park, you can ride a bike (or learn to ride one) you can pamper yourself, you can travel, not far or very far, you have the choice, you probably live in a free country where you can vote (this can be fun, imagine the power you feel!) you can write to yahoo you can read my answer, for what it is worth, you know it is sincere and you know you gave me pleasure by asking your question and giving me the chance to answer.

And this is just the beginning...

Kela, how old are you? There have been times I've wondered myself, trying to figure out where I was headed and why I was here to begin with, and in the end, I always just figured, well, I'm here for a reason, I just have to find it. Well, I got lucky and found it. There are so many things in the world to discover, to find out. Things you can't imagine. Life can be amazing. Stop asking why and ask why not?

Well, the bear went over the mountain to see what he could see, so why not you? There is so much to see, in each and every country, mountains, deserts, prairies, rivers, streams...so many flowers, strange animals...even stranger people...
Learn another language or learn to play a musical instrument, help those less fortunate than yourself. There are so many reasons. Life, at its longest, is so short, no matter how hard you try, it will soon be over. Don't rush it.

I agree with mezmerelda(?) I think that life is a gift and shouldnt be wasted. How about this suggestion: Join the peace core. Then you could live to make the world a better place.

I believe we're all here for a reason. I figure if I keep living, that reason will make itself clear sooner or later.
Meanwhile, I'm gonna try to make a difference (however small) in someone's life each and every day............ and maybe..that's the reason :-)

because you need to find the things in life that make you happy and feel worth living, like painting. i love to paint and i think its worth living for because its fun and i like it and it makes me happy :)
