Cross with a terrier can be any kind... cairn terrier, west highland white terrier (westie) or yorkshire terrier.

Poodles don't shed so a lot of people want to make poodle crosses. Although I think the dogs look just fine when they are pure-breds.

Edit: My poodle is very healthy (even though he is only 4 pounds) and he loves to play fetch with his ball-- including lots of jumping for air balls.

He can be yappy and would not be good with children. Very quiet though when not at home. Takes protecting the home very seriously.

He is hard to train though-- commands like sit-- goodness, he knows it, but he won't do it consistently. But lay down for a treat-- yeah, that one he knows.

Not sure what you want to know.

They are mutts.

They stay small.

They have terrier temperaments.

They come in several colors,

Strong temperamented ones should be kept away from children. They tend to be nippy.

Good dog for apt. living.

Did I cover any thing that you wanted to know?
