are you a righty or a lefty

if you are a righty the ball is to far in front of you in your stance if you are a lefty the ball is too far behind you in your stance....so just try adjusting it at the driving range a couple times

Sure I can help hitting the ball left is caused by a few things.
the pull sucks i know its cause by a downswing path that comes from the outside the face shuts and goes dead left but pure. Slowing down in general can help this but it can be a combination again. Weight transfer is culprit on your backswing to much weight can go tour front foot inevitably it goes to your backfoot on the downswing causing overrotaion of the arms on A very weak pull hook. The overall key is good set up that encourages a swingplane that's slightly to the inside this will allow you to go at the ball hard with a full release starting the ball to the right of the Target 5 yards with aslight draw.

Some good technical answers here but I will tell you what did it for me was more of a mental trick. I basically one day started envisioning a spot about two inches in front of the ball and did a whole practice routine where I started trying to hit that (in my mind) as my spot. I took one swing as a joke just to see what would happen and it was the crispest iron shot I had ever hit. I have used this mental trick ever since. Basically the idea is to never swing "at the ball". Get your setup correct and take a full swing with your weight going forward and just let the ball get in the way of your swing. This will seem unnatural at first but keep practicing it. As soon as I got out of the habit of trying to swing at the ball and just started taking my swing I stopped hitting behind the ball.

Check your alignment, make sure that you're square to the target. Second, are you reaching for the ball. Put the ball back in your stance a bit. Are you swinging outside in? Have someone watch you at the range and see if you're doing what I mentioned. If you're hitting the ball straght but left its a minor adjustment. Maybe take a couple lessons with a local pro who can fix the lefts pretty quickly. Good Luck!

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

If your right handed. Check your grip and stance. Most of all slow down on your swing. A leading cause of that is trying to over do it.

Well, I know in soccer, the ball will go the direction that the foot (that's not kicking) is pointed, so try pointing your non-kicking foot straight. Hope I gave you at least a little help!
Have a great day!

Look at your foot placement. You may need to bring your right foot forward a little to adjust to a straight line.
