I would think that the purity of intent of those duped into using adulturated ghee would put the karmic balance squarely on the heads of those evil people who knowingly tainted the ghee in the first place. The karma of the innocent devotees and that of the state of India should be unaffected.
The Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer know who did wrong.

Copy on Jayasri's statements. She didn't mention the "Kosher" shortcoming. "Kosher" does not necessarily mean strictly vegetarian. Kosher means observing certain traditional codes and that includes traditional codes on animal slaughter. I noticed some capsuled vitamins at a Whole Foods grocery and the bottle said "Vegetarian Capsules", But when I studied the label it states the capsules were made with "Kosher" gelatin. That means the capsules are not necessarily vegetarian.
If you have to purchase ghee at the grocery then study the label carefully. Find out if the manufacturer is respectable to give clear explanation of the ingredients. It would be ideal if we had a Vedic standards council to oversee these food issues and other Vedic concerns.
The safest bet is to use real butter. Put the butter on a slow heat. You don't want to burn it. Gradually the ghee will separate from the butter solids. Once the solids have sufficiently hardened they need to be strained off. Now you have real ghee!
The most ideal thing is to have your own cow. Otherwise, purchase from a respectable name brand producer of butter.

Resort to home made desi ghee and ban all import of such adulterated ghee. Bycot the adulterated ghee and this will be a strong blow to the manufacturers of such ghee. We must all unite in bycot of such products only then the problem will be solved.

That is abominable. So terrible and so against religious principles. Especially becaue Lord Krishna is the protector of the Cows and His favorite animals are cows. Those who are doing this scandal will have very serious karmic reactions. Simple solution stop buying ghee and make their own Ghee out of butter. Especially for the deities we should make our own- everything fresh. Many things are being contaminated there and in US IE White Sugar, (strained through bones. Gelatin being used in so many food products. So many different code names for animal byproducts. Cheese has cow intestines added (rennet) We have to be extra careful to read labels and avoid this abomination. Thanks for letting us know.

No problem at all.It is all God's creations .What ever you offer out of devotion is acceptable to god .Everything in this world is consumed by the major ( the ancietns from the times of the early Greek philosophers called these as elments only till they were able to find out the fundamental components )elements of fire , earth , water , air &Akash . It is these that create and annihilate for recycleing the matter and re-incarnte them in to new beings .Animal fat is animal fat whetehr it is of the cow or th epig and they are all corbo hydrates only.
the mechants who adulterate them cheat only the buyers anf not a krishna because heis in evry grain ,atom of everythong and everything is the same to him.Dust and diamond are one and he same for those who are far above the ordianry mans plane of living .For god it is all the same
No one in the world is relly a vegetarian. At birth you drink th emilk of yur mother and it is produced by her blood .As you grow youdrink animal Milk which is also of animal blood .gheee is also animla fat and those whoclaim o be vegetarians are using milk and ghee. Are they really vegetarians ? All are non -vegetarians and ther eis no harm is being soas in this world things are made from one another and nothg is newly created .All thais today is something that has been trhere for ever .see Bhagavad-gita
"Nothing of non-being comes to be
nor does being cease to exist ;
the boundary between these two
is seen by men who see reality" verse 16 of 2nd teaching of Bhagavad -gita.

Sri Krishna is an incarnation of Vishnu. Sri Krishna as a child was the adorable butter thief and as he got older he married radha. He is the blue god, god of love, the peacock represents him also. He in his younger days also liked gopis. Read the Bhagavad Gita if really interested.

Sorry about that. Seriously, the words of the Word (Jesus Christ) may help. Here: (please share... and India will prosper...God has all in His hands)
Matthew 15:11 (Holy Bible)
Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Who cares! Why would anyone want to feed upon religious lies, because religions are illusory, and the main cause for obsessional neurosis. Krishna isn't real. Even if he was, he isn't alive today. Only living Mediators can profit the lost soul, not dead wannabes.
