WHEN ARE MUSLIMS going to stop acting like victims?

Question

If Muslims don't want Islam to be perceived as encouraging violence, they should:
1. Stop committing violent acts.
2. Stop justifying those violent acts by reference to the Qur'an and Sunnah.
3. Stop saying violent or hateful things in private when you think no non-Muslims are around.
4. Begin comprehensive international programs in mosques all over the world to teach against the ideas of violent jihad and Islamic supremacism.
5. Actively work with Western law enforcement officials to identify and apprehend jihadists within Western Muslim communities.

Do these five things, and you'll find, voila, that perceptions of Islam will begin miraculously to improve.

Oh please apologists; get off your moral equivalist drivel..You're not impressing me as I am neither xtian nor jewish..In fact, I am a former muslim.

Anyway if you want to play that game that xtianity is just as bad as Islam game..Especially to those of you who emailed me the typical "oh yeah what about McVeigh" lame talking point..
There are 3 reasons why McVeigh are not equivalent to Bin Laden and Zaqawi..
1. They did not even attempt to justify their actions by reference to Christian Sculpture or tradition.
2. They Were Not acting on mainstream Christian Teachings.
3. There are not large Christian groups around the world dedicated to implementing the same teachings.

The difference between Osama Bin laden and Eric Rudoplh is the difference between aberrant acts and aberrant teachings. Any human being with a belief system can do horrible things. But abominable acts are more likely to come in greater numbers and frequency when they are encourages and perpetrated by religious texts and those that teach from them!

4. Begin comprehensive international programs in Churches all over the world to teach against the ideas of fundamentalism and moral superiority.
5. Actively work with International law enforcement officials to identify and apprehend terrorist within Western Christian communities.

Do these five things, and you'll find, voila, that perceptions of Christianity will begin miraculously to improve.

The Qur'an teaches violence against non-believers.
According to the Qur'an non-muslims have 3 options: convert to Islam, be subject to the jizra (tax and humiliating discriminatory laws) or die.

According to the Qur'an muslim believers must behave well to fellow believers, but can lie, cheat steal from etc non-believers.

Islam is a religion of violence. Mohammed was a very violent man. Not all muslims are violent thankfully, but the moderate ones don't act in accordance with the Qur'an !

4. I am up for that. I do believe in Live and let live ideology.

5. If I knew any one who is a terrorist I would identify them to the police. Thankfully there are none that I know of. Yet I still get labeled and am one of those people who has to wait two hours to cross the border when returning to America.

I don't act like any thing, but that does not take away from the truth that Muslims are victims of religious profiling.

perhaps if the Christian nations stopped invading our countries and raping our resources, this would put an end to the cycle of violence. just because your American does not mean that oil in the middle east belongs to you, it does not, and can easily be sold to China instead. maybe if the Christian nations quit using wmd in our countries like napalm, or phosphorus, or cluster bomb-lets, or cowardly bombing our villages from high up in a plane, this would end the cycle of violence.
