1] shave after being in tub or shower at least ten minutes
[ pores open up, and hair softens so shaves easier ]
2] use a double or triple edge blade [ only your own - don't borrow or lend to anyone ]. Use each blade 3-4 times, and get a new one.
3] use a sensitive skin or extra protection shave cream
4] shave from ankles to knees, in long, smooth, overlapping strokes, so you cover each area about twice. Do only two or three strokes before rinsing blade off.
5] then shave from top of knee to top of thigh, in same manner. [ Do NOT shave pubic hair against the hair growth ]
6] straighten legs, and shave fronts and backs of knees
7] flex toes up towards knees, and shave backs of ankles
8] rinse razor well, and let air dry
9 rinse legs well, also. Brush teeth or something before applying lotion to legs - give pores a chance to close up, so
don't get 'breakouts'
DO NOT
a] use soap - drying, and not a close shave [ in emergency, use conditioner! ]
b] shave with hair growth on legs - not close shave
c] share razors

Sounds like razor burn. Use a gel or a foam instead of soap and always use a sharp razor. They get dull in two to three weeks so make sure you're changing them often. I've never seen what you're talking about though.

It's razor burn. You need to use a shave gel or foam rather than soap.
