Look right above the push button for opening the device or right above the door. Some units have a small hole. If it is there, straighten out most of a paperclip, keeping the last bend as an handle, and push the straight wire into the hole pushing firmly but not violently on what the wire ends up against. If it works, the tray will pop out slightly and you can pull it the rest of the way.

Is there a pinsized hole in the front? Usually there is and you can push it in with a pinlike object to eject it. If not, maybe you can flip down the cover and pull...depending on the type of dvd/tv...good luck.

the tv doesnt have to be on for dvd to get out
unless you have one of those built in dvd players
