put his bowl down with a half and half mixture, pick it up after 10 minutes, do not give him anything else, do this for 3-4 days, believe me they will eat when hungry enough, this worked for my Rottie never had a problem after that

Changing Dog Foods
Whenever you decide to change the brand of dog food or type of food you are feeding your dog, always do so gradually. This will keep your canine's digestive system from suffering from stomach upset.
If possible, make changes slowly over the course of a few days by adding a small portion of the new food to the old until you have switched your pooch to her new diet. You can also introduce yogurt as a mild protein to help your dog's stomach adjust if you want to transition her dog from kibble to a raw protein diet.
Avoid changing your dog's food before any kind of performance competition to prevent possible upset stomach or runny stools.
it may take time and like the old saying this hurt me more than you! my dog was stubborn but, gave in when he was hungry and new I wasn't going to give in, and at your dad's he was missing you.

Don't give your dog any other choice. One of my dogs is extremely picky, and doesn't like to eat dry food. We just leave the dry food out there, and eventually she gets hungry and notices the food in the bowl. It seems cruel but at least she eats it.

if you and your mom are not on the same page regarding feeding then you have a problem ... if you can convince your mom to not feed the dog human food then you can fix it in a day or two ... you put the dogs kibble down and if he does not try to eat it within five minutes remove it and no food, treats, chewies, etc. ... at dinner put the same kibble down and if he does not eat it after five minutes take it away ... always have fresh water available ... do not add anything to the kibble to make it better like treats or chicken, that is not helpful ... by morning offer the same kibble and your pup will be hungry and will eat what you put down ... be consistent, do not feel sorry for the dog that he has not eaten ... do not try to coax him to eat, just put the food down and go about your business and remove silently as well ... try to convince your mom :O)

I just had this problem with my newest member of the dog family. He was sent to us with the dry food he "loved" but wouldn't touch it....probably nerves. BUT, to get him to eat I'd give him wet food---he loved it but got the hershey squirts. Sooo...I stopped that and kept leaving his dry food in the dish---he eventually came around and started eating it. If your dog is hungry and the dry food is the only thing available---HE WILL eat it. Trust me, he won't starve himself.
