always move with it. So for example, I have 100 columns with the first two containing a list. I want to be able to move halfway across the chart, with the first two columns always there, like still visible, while all the rest move with the scroll bar.

You can also "Freeze Panes".

From the cell which is immediately to the right of your "two colums" and immediately below your heading titles, click on WINDOW/Freeze Panes and you will be able to scroll.

Do the same to turn it off. I like this better than the Split function as Split seems to show the spreadsheet twice.

It is called the window split.

There is a very tiny white and black bar in the bottom right corner of the scroll bars. When you hover your mouse over it you will see a double headed arrow. Drag this into your window to the right edge of the column you want to remain visible.

Remove it by going to the Window Menu -> Remove Split
